Cleaning the exteriors

• Hair Conditioner: Avoid using harsh dish cleaning detergents or liquids on the car body. Instead, wash your car with a hair conditioner which works like car wax. Use a microfiber cloth to wipe clean the surfaces to get maximum shine.
• Glass cleaner: Spray window cleaner like Colin on the headlights and rub clean with a netted garment; I have used pantyhose and it works well. Then wash the surface with hair conditioner to make them shine like new.
• Ammonia: You can also use a 1:4 Ammonia-water mixture to clean wiper blades, window glasses and windshield. Remember, ammonia is really toxic and should be kept out of the reach of children
• Vodka Magic: Fill the windshield washer liquid tank with a mixture of 3 cups vodka, 4 cups water and 2 teaspoon liquid soap. This works as a homemade washing fluid and keep your glass clean each time you use your wipers.
• Cola: Use Cola or Soda to rid of those easily. Simply pour the liquid on the glass (do not let it get inside the hood), the fizz will clean away all patches. Once done wash off the surface with water.
• Sanitary pads: Instead of using expensive sponges and towels, use a sanitary pad to clean the windshield. Use the sticky side on the glass, the gel in the pad works as a cleaning liquid.
• No Wax car shine: Once you are done washing your car, mix a little amount of kerosene with water, wet a sponge with this solution and clean the car body with it. You will be amazed to see that it works just like car wax or surface shiner.
