Now you can order home-cooked food online.

Launched in February this year by management graduate duo Neha and Anuj Puri, Cyberchef.in is one such platform. The online venture connects the foodies with talented home cooks, offering people their favourite dishes made for them at a home. Currently catering only to Gurgaon, the website says the response has been encouraging enough for it to plan expansion. In the coming months, Cyberchef.in plans to take homemade delicacies to Delhi and other parts of the NCR. An app is also in the pipeline, aiming for a mid-August launch.

The process of ordering food is simple. Check the menu on the website and dial the call centre number. Alternatively, you can place order and pay online. Once the order is placed, the logistics team dispatches the selected meals to the specified location at the preferred time slot. The minimum order amount is Rs 250 at present. What’s on the menu?

From Italian Spaghetti Bolognese to Bengali Aloo Posto, Awadhi biriyani to Moroccan couscous preparation, and health food to desserts or bakery items — there is plenty to choose from, with a number of registered home cooks lined up to prepare them.
