Indian Automotive is one of the largest industries showing impressive growth over the years and has been significantly making increasing contribution to overall industrial development in the country. Outside of India, the electric car segment has taken huge leaps forward in recent years and is filled with a number of brilliant zero-emission cars. But India’s steep taxation laws on overseas cars have stopped manufacturers bringing their technology to the country, and the vehicles themselves remain a distant dream for Indian buyers unable to stomach the added cost.
